My pleasure, Nicolas.... Never had an issue, in my view a very reliable movement. And yes, both are keepers, they have a very different presence on the wrist due to the very different dial. Will change the strap of one though, the Cartier burgundy is nice...

which I find incredible. As you may expect, also the relationship with this baby had it's weak moments. Is it maybe too small....? But one look at this incredible blue on white contrast always let my mind find peace. I've seen several versions of the dial...

But I have slightly changed my mind when it comes to the case proportions. Actually, I had the chance to discuss with someone involved in the creation of this watch and he regretted that they couldn't reach the conclusion of the concept: a true flat Tortu...

Yes Nicolas, only 13 made. Almost doesn't exist....Asked Fx about Cartier limited editions above. I also had the Tank MP WG before (with the same movement), which also was limited, 200, if I remember right. Deep regrets I sold it...at the time I felt the ...

Size difference between the first (and smaller) edition of the CPCP Tortue MP and the Tank MP. It is interesting that there are hardy any books,that have written about the Tank MP, while the CPCP version of the Tank MP is such a good re issue of the vinta...  

Hi Geo, love your Tank MP in YG. This was a really nice final highlight of the CPCP line. Looks even better than the WG version. Must have been out of my mind when I sold mine though. I HAVE to get it back some day.... Inspired by your Double Wrist here's...

Thought for a moment that together with Geo´s YG version this thread might gather all the contemporary versions of the Tortue MP. But at least for the YG version there should be more iterations like black dial etc. Would be nice to have all the Tortue MP´... 

As far as I know, there has never been a platinum version of the CPCP Tortue Mono Poussoir. The Tank MP in platinum was at an auction a few months ago, but that was probably a custom order. GEO

I initially thought this was a ladies watch. Are you sure it isn't?
