The other day I went to pick up my wife's temperamental Pasha, which liked to spin its large date to 35 and more It had actually been sorted relatively quickly (around two weeks) and a full service has been thrown in to make sure nothing else untoward det...  

I love its slender style. But it is the PG version I prefer. Fx

But can see how the PG works really well with this watch. It is also much thinner in real life than it appears in pictures. Surprised one does not see them more often...

Truly a spectacular piece that way... Even more than the WG I tried on

And not something done based on the effort and materials at this level anymore

Not sure how that works. Would many, who like it switch to AP due to price? If it exceeds what one can afford, it definitely has an effect but the question is how many they wanted to make and if the price was detrimental... I guess resale value will also ... 

Hi ! In case if the above fascinates you then you are in right groove. I am fortunate to have one in colour metal and another ADLC which is skeleton which Fits to wrist well as well as light wt,. A bit uneasy while winding daily but the thickness of the w...  

Especially if one is the Skeleton. Really like the look of both - in spite of the same case shape they appear very different in terms of feel. And your pictures show them being quite versatile. Same basic movement?

Thanks as you liked both. After enjoying Dumont for almost 7 yrs I came across eye catching Dumont skeleton duly displayed in one of AD in 2014. After that it was on my wrist as my AD offered irresistible price. That was the reason you saw same size , cas...

I am a very big fan of the ADLC version but have not had the luxury of handling one in the flesh nor is very little written about it. What is your take having owned it for some time now if you do not mind sharing? Is winding an issue? Is the case very fra...

And I really like the fact that it has no bezel with screws, which is historically also correct. This watch I prefer in white gold. Very classy watch with great case dimensions, that you can wear anytime. I still have and wear the small version from the 8...

The pink gold one in the middle (not mine) is the same size as the one you posted, it is from 2004. The platinum version is the regular CPCP version (1999), not limited and identical to the pre CPCP version, except for the word Paris underneath the brandn...  

They are really, really cool! Do they all have Piaget movements, or have different ones been used in the pre-2004 models? All similarly thin? Thanks a lot for sharing these - they make for an interesting lineage up to the current times!

These smaller version all three have the Fred. Piguet caliber. The 1913 has a thicker case. I PM'd you an article about the Santos Dumont.

I was shopping for a slim dress watch a few months ago and stopped at the 5th Ave. boutique. I went in thinking about the Louis Cartier Tank or Ronde but it was the Santos Dumont in PG that really caught my eye. It's extremely elegant, slim profile, hugs ... 

Have yet to see the PG live but the WG definitely worked for me. Definitely on the shortlist of dress watches, together with the Chopard LUC XP / XPS
