Hi, I am about to get married and want to buy my wife a watch as a wedding present. I am interested in buying her a Tank Solo as I like the simplicity of the dial and the high polish of the bracelet - and I also think Cartier has that certain touch of cla...  

The smaller sized Cartier Tank Solo is 31mm while the larger sized is 35mm. Since she's used to wearing a 35mm round, I wouldn't go smaller. Cheers, Anthony ...

First of all: congratulations and have a great party!! Back to the question in hand: I would also go for 35 mm. As 31 mm can look a bit grandma like. But as stated below; indeed ask a fitting from another lady with roughly the same wrist size.

I love it because it is a flat Tank... Perfect on a man or on a lady's wrist. Fx

The Tank Solo is super classic. Great choice! Being rectangular they may wear bigger. So best to try both sizes and then decide. If it's meant as a surprise, try to get a lady friend or sales assistant with roughly the same wrist size as your wife's as a ...
