I agree.

As I've said before (some say ad nauseum) the steel Tank MC should be on the shortlist of people who want to go into mechanical timepieces from Cartier.

It has the "qualities and heritage of the brand " but still allows entry into the world of fine mechanical watches.

but that is a different league entirely!! My favorite Tank MC is the stainless steel with silver dial. When it comes to the gold, I really prefer the Tank Louis Cartier Extra-Flat, which is a little narrower and much thinner, but such an understated beaut...
