I wonder why only seven pieces of the tank Cintree with red Arabic numerals?
Could there be any association with the seven states that make up the U.A.E.?
Surely, this Cartier Tank below would also qualify.....

There is a reason
This was a special order so I think someone had them made (ordered) for himself and his sons. But of course with special orders we are never sure. Best, GEO

Love both pieces! I miss seeing the Paris below the Cartier brand. I find it very aesthetically pleasing somehow. The current models feel a tad empty without the word Paris.

because of its historical background and because of its complication that's so popular among collectors.
