I was offered this watch and decided to buy it, I have no idea if the 55k usd I paid was fair but after finishing out some basic info and examining the watch and comparing it to what 55k could buy today I decided it was a good deal. So I now know the trip...  

I can’t add much, however what I can say is the crown on your watch is almost certainly a Sapphire. The Cartier crowns mounted on watches which are in cased fully in precious metal are actually spinel, which would explain the difference in color between y...

So far I could find information only here in our trusted forum www.watchprosite.com It seems it is indeed a 100LE. It looks great on you, how is the mechanism to change face? which face will you use the most?

It feels great on my huge wrist. I think I will keep it in the skeleton window the most as it looks like it means business. The black is not bad, silver sucks to my eyes

To my knowledge, it was only released as a Limited Edition of 100 pieces and I doubt that all 100 have been made. If it was a piece unique, the engraving would read No1. In the past, Cartier used 1/1, but nowadays it is just No 1. When you can handle the ... 

So less than 100 exist? I was rather surprised by the fact that Cartier customized their releases for select clients, add to that that we don’t know how many where made and it’s a complete mystery! I have asked Cartier for additional info, will post here ... 

The paperwork stating that it’s a piece unique was probably mixed accidentally with another watch. This collection existed with a paved bezel with a Tiger, another one with a dragon. And a yellow gold fully paved small / medium santos version with a panth... 

I actually heard back from Cartier This piece is part of the top high horology release category, as per the below document Apparently a Royal had bought specifically number 16 at the time of announcement and request a modification to the bezel and another...  

Given that it was produced for a royal, my guess is that they requested the white gold parts be replaced with platinum, due to religious reasons. Thus, that would explain why your bezel looks more like platinum than it does white gold. That would attribut... 

I think being made in Palladium makes this watch quite interesting.
