a timepiece with very different dial layout like 1921 VC American or a regulator... it just takes a bit of time on the wrist reading is easier once you pass that first few days of familiarity I suppose. Your point was exactly my doubt too but when I tried...  

Was really considering the RDLP13 version before I settled on the Collection Privé white dial: just really liked how comparatively restrained it was. Not the best shot - in a bit of a hurry…. Both really beautiful variations, in my view! ...
