I was typing away yesterday, looked at my watch and the second hand had fallen off! You can see it lying upside down... White side of the arrow up. As far as I remember this isn't really a big deal right? And that a watchmaker can fix this pretty easily? ...

I think a decent independent should be able to sort this out easily enough. Bit of a shame though. On the other hand (excuse the pun), the Omega is nice.

Those usually fit quite securely when installed for the first time. Any competent watchmaker should be able to put it back, just they need to be careful to support the movement correctly (maybe 1-2 day turnaround just to be safe). The hand may need to be ...

All fixed with absolutely no scratches anywhere. The AD told me that no service was needed as the watch is keeping good time. He just fixed the second hand - didnt take long. Thanks again for asking. Great to have it back! Julian
