Ok, I have to contact Chopard to see if it is possible to work from this watch to get a WPS 25th Edition. Let's keep it in steel, for the budget. Then, let's think of the modifications we could work on to make it " ours ". 1/ The dial: what about Airport ...  

So fantastic option… My humble input 1/ The dial: what about Airport codes instead of cities name? Great! I would keep it black, but change the orange indices and hands for another color. Red? Date hand in red, too.  Black indeed - indeed Red indices and ...  

If the functions are given at least make them useful, not like in the regular model. ...  

A too busy dial. I would prefer something more reduced. Otherwise your suggestions make a lot of sense and spice for this piece.

Although I am still on the fence for the 5935a… I know I am not consistent 😉

Smaller case — perfect Airport codes — love it I am fine with the orange-yellow accents — but, red is a good option I would say no to the tantalum and enamel dial options for budget considerations. Thanks for sharing some early creative ideas!

Not sure why I'm commenting since I've blown the next two years' budget already so I definitely can't afford it I love the orange accents, my ideal tto would be a dial the blue of this 911, but brushed vertically, with orange lume, and an arena caseback. ...  

My input as follows: For me it has to be in steel! I am a fan of tantalum, but not of the color that comes with... Airport codes would make more sense, since this is a traveller watch and the wearer should know his destination (hopefully!) This will clean...  

That is 40mm, hunter back very cool too. Can have engraving. Would be very cool to have hand engraved watchrpsite edition 2/25 for example. I like actual edition # instead of " 1 of 25". Also for dial simplicity I like the GMT better, now the world time p... 

Hong Kong rather than Beijing for the cities. Besides, HKG is far more intuitive than PVG as far as airport codes are concerned.

I think 2 plain model frm Chopard may nudging fit the 10k bill as well. 😆 Both are micro rotor which interest me.😜 ...  

And each country capital should stay less USA as it cover multiple TimeZone. The 3 hands version is fr 10k budget but use normal micro rotor instead of precious metal to keep it below 10k. With both budget at Chopard, it may enhance the negotiation and ma...

What about using the twist case to make an XP driver's model, with the dial rotated so that the 12 marker is at the 1:30 position?

I would leave the case size and material unchanged due to budget. Love the airport codes. The only change from your suggestions: I would prefer a red-dark grey ring instead of a red-blue one. Red-blue is Rolex GMT.

If I have to choose between A&B I will take steel but with Black dial

But I’d also vote for simple time-only with steel or titanium and a micro-rotor QF movement.

Why not go for a GPHG Winner and ask them to do a WT as you want in Steel for less than 5k and it will be unique to WPS as they don't make a WT version of the watch yet Pic Source: Raymond Weil S ...
