Nevertheless, it demonstrates the Latin American market fo haute horlogerie is back. After all, it was that export market that inspired iconic models like Patek Philippe Gondolo and IWC Portuguesier.

Ken, I'm not sure if it already passed through Tokyo. Certainly, after Baselwold 2010, it made the rounds through Singapore and China. There are more than 15 Chopard boutiques so a rare sight indeed in any one. Regards, MTF
