The feel on the wrist is different, and better with the PF. But more alluring is the utter purity of the Minute Rattrapante's dial and "hidden" complication.
I in fact had the salmon dial Chopard XPS reserved, but after receiving the PF MR, I passed on it. I was mostly drawn to the salmon dial, but comparing the two pieces directly together, I just like the Parmigiani a lot more. I had a dream of owning a trio of integrated steel bracelet watches w the PF, AP Jumbo, and Chopard, but the duo of the first two is serving me quite well.

I wear a lot of blue and I have come to appreciate grey & silver more over time. Completely different categories but it's why I like my U50DS and Searambler so much.

I am not an expert on the product line and dial offerings. But it looked very nice.
Since you have the PF Minute Repeater,
which wpuld you choose between the Alpine Eagle and the PF? I’m considering getting a PF that’s why I wanted to get your opinion which I highly regard.

quite a lot of doubts in my mind. I tried the minute rattrapante in Japan, but I’m going to try the tonda no date, these days having a thin classy watch appeals to me and 7.8mm of height looks very good on paper, hope it works on my wrist too, we’ll see. ...

your posts have been an important reason to consider the watch, I was just not getting over the fact that it didn’t have a running seconds hand which I use in my day to day life, but maybe a very thin and not sporty bracelet watch a la vacheron 222 doesn’...
Glad if it has been some help. As I get older, I find myself really drawing closer toward simplicity.
A pure watch dial, with minimal information, has proven to be very enjoyable for me. Case thickness too, I start to appreciate thinner cases more (says the guy who loves AP Offshores and other thick, hockey puck type pieces!).
