Now, THIS is the Alpine Eagle that I am truly tempted to consider
I like "no date", and the new dial design with small seconds makes it look more elegrant/luxurious in my eyes. Very nice indeed,. The the salmon (rosa pink) dial looks terrific, at least in the pics.

Looks beautiful! And equally importantly, will feel amazing on the wrist.
I have tried on the thin tourbillon, and this I believe is the same case and (non tourbillon) movement - without the hole in the dial, what's not to like!
Good looking dial and a beautiful movement.
Not sure if the clasp mechanism is smoother on this new model.
Is this basically a LUC model now?
This seems (to a novice like me) to be the LUC micro rotor... does that make this basically a LUC alpine eagle? I am guessing this explains the increase from ~14k usd to ~22k?

This one and the Chopard 1860 36mm LUC Movement, the IWC Ingeniur, and the Van Cleef & Arpels Automatons are the winners of this year's show.
I didn't like the aged metal case. But that's just me personally. The movement is great. Not sure about the fluted bezel.
Wonderful movement. Nothing better than that movement!

Hmm. The bezel looks kind of larger than the ideal proportion on those. But might have to see those in person to make a final verdict.
