Dear SBS,

Congratulations!  I'm beginning to see a design theme running through your recent choices:

Piccadilly Serpent Calendar (Peter Speake-Marin)
Louis Monet Twin Tech
Chopard Twist Tech
?.........

Watch brands sometimes grant exclusivity to their closest dealers with Ltd Editions either limited by number of pieces, time of production or (in this case) both a limited number of pieces and lockout period. There were, are and always will be, 100 pieces of THAT design that you own. However, different variations of design details can be brought out for regular consumption after the lockout period viz the current Chopard Twist Tech production.

Even so, a few hundred (eventually thousand?) watches or so, are still pretty exclusive compared to a bazillion Rolex or Panerai pieces that have been almost identical for 50 years and maybe pricier than a well-finished Chopard L.U.C., eh?

...as the list you reference shows, the more limited the better in my mind. One of the posters on another watch site mentioned that there is a third difference - that the movement is blackened on the Sincere version and not the Chopard version. If this is...
