Congrats on your purchase. I believe you acquired one of the Chopard limited rather than Sincere limited. (See thread and review for meow details). The T vs TB I believe is because the Sincere version is blackened while the chopard version is not. I have not seen the Chopard version but this is what I hear.
as to the rotor, yes indeed it steps. You can see the regulator for this on the front of the watch. I imagine it is designed to assist the winding mechanism and aid winding
