alkiro, Thanks. The watch you found is from the early regular production L.U.C 16/1860/2 that promised 1860 pieces of each type of metal case e.g. three colours of gold and platinum. Those watches did not have an Officer caseback but a spare solid engrave...

kolosstt, You set me a question that I've never thought about. Maybe because I never saw the L.U.C 1.96 and 1.98 as comparable. Functionally, one needs hand winding albeit only once a week and the other is rotor wind. So, I treat them as different usage. ...
