Similar experience, not such a happy outcome
It's funny you should post this. Two or so messages down I talk lovingly about my brand new WG 1860. Well, last night, after a week of ownership and a night out with a few too many glasses of wine, I dropped my watch from waist height onto a wooden floor. After sobering up VERY quickly I examined the damage. Unfortunately the jolt has resulted in the seconds hand becoming entirely detached. Still seems to be keeping good time. Taking it into the boutique tomorrow with fingers crossed.

Alcohol? Man... seems like Chopard's owners & their friends have same issue! Ha..I better not speak too soon and make sure whenever I take out my watch there is thick carpet beneath. Kong
