I just posted in your other thread about the Ref 1860/2 white gold with silver dial.
It may be some consolation that when your watch returns from the service department, the silver-coloured dial will be a solid gold dial crafrted to look like silver.
No - Chopard has not suddenly decided to replace silver dials with gold! :o )
In fact, the silver coloured dial on the 1860/2 was solid gold all along.
