Chopard

The Scheufele family has owned Chopard since 1963. Through much hard work and a little bit of luck, they have revived a sleeping brand into a respected Maison for watches and jewellery. Although primarily a watchmaker for 155 years, the jewellery business...

Mike, Thanks for your kind words. I had help from Chopard Museum Curator, PR department, reference books, old PuristS articles and Scheufele archives. Also, many conversations with Scheufele family and Chopard staff over the last decade gives you a "feel"...  

I just discovered these LE and I like the idea very much. Nice watches, reasonably priced, for enabling quite some people to be proud to participate for this noble cause. A very elegant way for the brand, just like the family who owns and manages it. Than... 

Although I distinctly remember a 35 part series being discussed But I am sure you will add details to other Chopard watches apart from the series anyway Once again, thanks a lot!

Plus retirement age is increasing as we speak... A period that I would love to read about are the 1980s and 1990s, as it seems to be exceedingly difficult to find out anything about the watches from the pre-LUC era. Just in case you have the time...
