. . . is that L.U.C. pocket watch really from 1860? I have to admit I never would have dated it to that late, I thought nobody was using a coqueret and that sort of balance cock by then anymore. I guess the ruby endstone might have been a giveaway that it was a later production, but it looks like a mid 18th century verge watch in a lot of respects.
