I'd just change the strap for a matte one, personally (or at least semi-matte). Such original 1860 "red carpet" are rare and really classy. I assume the watch is powered by the 1.96 caliber? Or is it a version of the 96 caliber without the swan neck regul... 

I second a new strap in matt or semi matte would be great for this watch it may even make it feel like a new watch. Obviously only you can decide if you should keep it or let it go but having never seen one of these before I'm guessing it would be very ha... 

I dont think you should sell for two reasons 1. This is such a beautiful and rare model that if you want it again, it will be super hard to get (ngl, I am going to see where I can buy this, see the price, and be sad lol) 2. Chopard isn't super hot right n... 

I have only been considering it because I have multiple other dress watches, and despite how special, gorgeous, and well made this one is, she rarely gets any wrist time. You are right, values for the 1.96 1860s are not super impressive. I was just thinki... 

I was thinking of replacing it with another Chopard LUC from the era with more daily potential + something TBD. Regardless, I will likely not let her go due to the poor market for the original 1860 1.96 models and how irreplaceable it is.
