This is the first watch I bought that came with a OEM leather strap that is soft comfortable and flexible.
I commend LUC for this fabulous strap. Does anyone know why most if not all OEM straps are stiff hard uncomfortable and too thick?

Think back to how manufacturers typically imply their straps are of superior quality. Comfort and flexibility are not high on that list. Materials, substantiality, construction, stitching, sealing, branding (e.g. Hermes), sustainability are all likely to ...
Superior quality to me would mean it would fit properly.
The stiff leather straps tend to float like a solid bracelet rather than taper round your wrist. Metal bracelets have a better fit than leather in that case.
