There are watches you know they will be yours, at first sight.
I tried many 16660 before finding mine, exactly like I did with the Rolex Explorer II 1655, and there was no " wow factor ".
Till I fell on the right one.
Here is the first photo I took of it:
As an extra bonus, it came full set...

What a great watch!
The Triple 6 comes second in my list after the SD 4K, which keeps the 40 mm but adds the modern touch like I prefer. But on the vintage side I agree, 666 👌
I’ve never seen this version before…but it’s definitely my favorite SD now!
I never felt too strongly about the SD given its size, but this one seems to be more refined. And of course that dial and patina are perfect.
Hard to beat this design for functionality… and the condition on this example is magnificent.
I can see why it’s a keeper.
