Much rarer than a Paul Newman, but not less desirable, this Explorer 6350, Serpico Y Laino ( Venezuelan retailer ) from 1953.
Sorry, but I can't remember where I got this remarkable photo and who to credit for it. I will happily credit him upon request.
Indeed this watch has some superb ingredients: The honeycomb dial, the gilt writinig, and hands. Look at the hour minute hand, this is not a detail we often see!
This long hour hand can be also found on a later reference, the early 6610 with the red writing, like this one I had the pleasure to take in picture:

I am still surprised that we don't more often mention these Explorers in our conversations. We are not far from the Holy Grail category, IMO.
