A quick post on the Ultimate Cool Chic: The RO jumbo.

Till September 2009, I couldn't really enjoy my RO jumbo, as it was for some long months at the AP Service Center for a serious restoration.

What I can say is that I learnt to " madly " appreciate and love this watch.

I first had to solve the problem of the lenght of the bracelet, which is a recurrent issue for my wrist, as it is generally too long or too short, hence not very comfortable to wear.

But I managed to find a solution, and now, it falls almost perfectly on the wrist.

So, since June 2010, this is one of the watches I most often wear.

I brought it in my luggage during these holidays, and I realized that it was one of the coolest watch to wear when you get some tan, with a linen white shirt ... " The Ulitmate Cool Watch ".



Here are some live pictures taken during these last holidays.

The Mandatory Roof Shot, which enhances the beauty of the dial, a bit grey, a bit blue, with some very light brown accents, in one word ... Totally fascinating.



The octogonal crown is an other superb detail, although very uncomfortable to wind, but hey, there is no happyness without a certain degree of pain.



The Beach Shot is a very speaking example of the coolness of this watch:



2 limits, by the way:

1/ The polished side of the bezel is a scratch magnet, so you always have to keep this in mind.

2/ This is not a watch which will allow you to have some water activities, but this is always the same frustrating feeling with every Vintage watch.

This is nothing compared to the enormous pleasure this watch generates when you wear it.

One of the nicest summer watch, in my book.
