Patek Philippe

A stunning “Marylin”

Nicknamed “Banana”, “Marylin”, "Osso da morto" (Italian for “dead man's bone”) or, in Japan, “Mimitabu” (耳朶, Japanese for “earlobe”), ref. 2442, introduced in 1948, is one of  Patek Philippe's most iconic shaped watches.

As its total production number is estimated at around 150 examples, it is rare.

But what is even rarer is to find such a stunning example with an incredibly appealing patinated dial bearing a long signature.

I'm in love: what about you?

Best, Emmanuel
