A trip down memory lane...
...Along with the incredible watches on this site, I'm sure many (most?) of you have incredible watch books as well.
Now that we all have a little unexpected downtime, I took the opportunity to break out a few favorites. The biggest thing that stands out is the prices! Here are a few examples:

-- A. Lange (Pink/White Gold, take your pick!) Tourbillon Pour Le Mérite $92,000
-- A. Lange Lange 1 (Pink Gold) $19,800

You get the point...the good old days indeed, except for the fact that at that time I had a newborn and no money : )

I wonder... AP Royal Oak Skeleton Perpetual Calendar...
Can't get those anymore... That's the one that comes to my mind!
Reading old watch magazines - i do this all the time actually.
But most watches werent as nice and shiny as models are today. It is just ALS and maybe AP - basically as the only companies - that made watches back then that were just as perfect as their current models are.
