A Vintage GS Day
I can never take a picture that will do these watches justice.
An oldie today, was going to wear another vintage GS but the rest are all mounted on classic black straps and therefore didn’t quite fit the colour scheme today. So I’ll bore you all with a photo of today’s watch which I posted somewhat recently also.
So much for all of us at much more modest price points, for me for the last 8-10 years it’s be these vintage GS. I don’t think my journey is over there yet, even if supply is less so now in my usual places and prices have of course moved a bit.
It’s not raindrops, it’s just the distortion from the faceted crystal at the is angle.

I think it’s a good compliment.
These watches came with any colour you’d like so long as it was black ! The rest of my GS from that period are all mounted on various iterations of black, and you know the make the watches shine.
Pretty sure these only came that way back then.
Definitely a reason I like the day and date iteration of these.
Super sharp case too
The line between the brushed finish and the polished finish is my favourite part of these watches - and yours is exquisite.
