Howdy folks,
Two weeks back, Jeffreysaul started a thread on what could be 40th anniversary AP RO. It has always been a desire of mine to see the star wheel warehoused in a RO case(NOT ROO). I want something from AP to celebrate this anniversary with something significant, not just some colour change or case material science...something that celebrates it's past, something horologically significant that screams AP top to bottom.
I was hoping for the same for the 38th and 39th anniversary, and started a thread last year September about it.

There seems to be universal desire for one, or at least no objection, violently or silently against one.
Two weeks back, I started thinking about how a star wheel warehoused in a RO case would look like. And I contacted Heartbreaker, who some of you, especially those who frequent Patek forum, would be familiar with. He has a knack for designing, even re-designing some of the existing watches. Few weeks back, he even modified the iconic Patek Nautilus.

Anyway, we have been in touch, and we decided to "create" the above said watch. Now, I must say that my input on this is purely directional and suggestive. Heartbreaker did all the hard work and computer simulation and CAD/CAM stuff, whilst I am still stuck learn Photoshop chapter 2.
So without further mumbo jumbo....Heartbreaker will present his creations.....
Best,
Horo
