Alfa Romeo GT 3.2. A car I owned and regret having sold.
Here is a video to give you an idea of the melody of the engine.
The big asset of this car, as most of the Alfa, its engine.
Melodious, full of life, powerful... Magic.
The car was very direct, too, a pleasure in the curves.
The suspension was a bit hard, rigid, but it is worth it for a sports car.
As for the body, it had its charm. Mine was black, with a red interior. Very charming.

Why did I let it go? The fuel consumption...
I remember a 200 kilometers trip made under very illegal speeds, I had to refill after 180 kilometers... 63 liters...
And if you are stuck in important traffic jams, you can only pray to quickly find a gaz station... The run out of gaz comes very quickly.
Now, if you drive it reasonably, on the highway, you can have a 8.O liters average fuel consumption. But you have to be veeeeeery reasonable.

At 180KPH the cars get really thirsty!
It's amazing that the Alfa got it to 180 KPH. It's even more amazing that a person can get it to that speed! Then again, the pilot is probably not a mere mortal...

I guess all boils down to engineering ....
The AMG tuned engine are guzzlers and at 5.5 litre bi-turbo and 565 hp the consumption is terrible in city driving and with the Audi S8 plus at low gears and city drive is the same issue turbo charged V8 with 4 litres with 605hp.
This car is a real beauty
They are finally starting to import Alfas into the USA again. But only two models. The Giulia and Stelvio SUV. But this one is gorgeous. For the most part we don’t choose cars based on fuel economy here, so this one would do very well. 😂😂😂
