Anniversary Langematik
I would like to preface this post by thanking everyone involved with this forum, and the other forums, as it is full of great information and opinions. Having said that, I am thinking of purchasing an Anniversary Langematik. I currently own a Lange 1 moonphase in RG and a PT Datograph. I have not had the opportunity to try on the Langematik nor have I seen the anniversary in the metal. I have admired the watch since I saw it first, and that admiration has manifested into a need for the piece. I have only had negative experiences purchasing unseen. However due to the limited availability locating one in the metal is difficult. I have the opportunity to purchase one now but it is not located near me. I was wondering if any owners or individuals with experience might chime in. I also have very little experience with the production Langematik. I have no high-end automatics. How does this auto movement feel? How does the watch wear, as it is not quite the size of many of my other watches. Anyway any information would be appreciated as I have only a few days to make my decision. I noticed that they are selling at auction for considerably less than the watch was offered to me? Is there any reason for this? One sold 5 months ago for less than $15,000.? Thank you in advance, Carl-
