Another 253 admirer!
Definitely becoming the top choice among purists for this year and we are only just half way in 2017!
Things that I like about this watch - all checks for me -- domed sapphire crystal giving that vintage look even if the dial is whitish, the buttery crown when winding and indeed giving a 3-day life for a manual wound watch, the perfect contemporary size for my wrist - not too big nor too small, the mesmerizing blue seconds hand, the Grand Seiko and Diashock 24 jewels script at both 12 and 6 o'clock, the dauphine hour and minute hands with the nicely polished minute markers, and the soft and shiny crocodile leather strap for the dress watch feel.
Here is my 253 and my equally favorite Nomos in cordovan strap side by side for a positive comparison.
