Anybody else like "Airporters"?

I don't mean cars rented from the airport, or driven around on the airfield, I mean that extinct category of sedan or station wagon that was stretched 3-5 doors on each side to take passengers to/from an airport.

I have an unhealthy fascination with these which (fortunately) I have not indulged by OWNING one.

The identifying characteristic is a pair of doors for each row of seats, so that rules out most limousines. Here's what I mean:

Olds Toronado (conveniently front wheel drive) 8-door

Cadillac Fleetwood 6-door

Plymouth 8-door

1962 Chevrolet 8-door

Another of the same era and make

An old woodie "station wagon"

Checker airport

Chevy truck airporter

1960 Chevy Airporter

Cazalea
