Basic De Bethunes...
I have been lately looking at the more traditional De Bethune watches like the DB8 and especially the DB12.
It is extremely difficult to find info about these models over the web.
I see that Bernard Cheong published a thread on the DB12 quite some years ago, but I would appreciate if you guys gave me your opinion about this pair.
In particular, the DB12 has a caliber (based on a Venus 175 if I am not wrong) which on photographs appears to be beautiful. How is it from a technical point of view? Is it comparable to the all-famous Lemania it so much looks like?

I could not wait more for an answer/encouragement... ;-) and and jumped on the wagon! It has been practically impossible to find any solid info about the DB12 on the web. There is your thread of some years ago and very few else... However, the photographs...

I am out of home now. If I can, I will find some pics of it. The DB12 was and is a design thing of the 20th century's revival of interet in hi value wristwatch or clock constructs.
These are pictures of my actual DB12...
...although it is not yet in my hands... ( I imagine its previous owner will not mind that I use his photographs. The only thing that does not show very well on the photos is that the hands are blued steel, which is a nice sporty touch on a very classical...
