Breguet La Tradition 7027 labelled movement (back)
Hi Breguet lovers,
I thought I would start a new thread with the posterior of the La Tradition, because there is much more here that is still a mystery to me. I hope you can fill in some of the ‘gaps’.
I have little comprehension about that power reserve system, and have spent some time with a loupe watching what happens when one winds this watch. Is this some sort of planetary gear system? Also, the keyless works and how the hour and minute hands are mechanically linked to the going train remain an enigma.
I have an appointment with the optometrist tomorrow, and I am sure he is going to tell me to stop playing with this watch before I go blind!
