Perception crazy. We have a very fancy ETA, assembled by a man who was a student at the time, with an icons name on it, going for a fortune. Okay maybe One could say this is it, now or never I have to have it, but that isn't the case. One can Buy a Series 2 that is " designed and all hand made" from Roger Smith. Lets face it Daniels has his name on about 75 watches, about 53 of them made by Roger anyway. I think it is amazing that the watch brought this price due to the iconic value of daniels name. Now I really can't wait for my series 2. Thank god I ordered it before this auction. Jay

Mr. Smith's watch a bit on the high side when looking at exchange rates now. Something like 30,000 pounds for a new Series 2 in gold. The PT piece is about 38,000 pounds which can be considered obscene for a time only, four handed watch. You obviously fee...
