That is a sacrifice - what a wonderful car - but then, what a wonderful watch....
On balance, I would probably go for the same choice, but man, what a close one. I always thought Daniels had a good sense of watchmaking history (witness his work on Breguet) and I am sure that he would not let or leave something with his name on it exist and continue without being sure it would show him and his work in a sublime light (that we have come to expect).
Congratulations on your Daniels. I am very envious and if there is a dinner in London where I can come and see it, please invite me!
