Isnt the price of
Mr. Smith's watch a bit on the high side when looking at exchange rates now. Something like 30,000 pounds for a new Series 2 in gold. The PT piece is about 38,000 pounds which can be considered obscene for a time only, four handed watch. You obviously feel that having a "bespoke" watch, made by Daniels' protege is worth a premium over one from say a more "mainstream" manufacturer, but its all personal where we perceive value. My sincerest congrats to the lucky winner - may you enjoy and love your new addition!
