Grand Seiko SBGH035 back on the wrist ⏱️⚖️🇯🇵
This one always brings me back to over 10 years ago and the much earlier period of engaging with watches. Was a grail piece for me and one I felt I would most likely not be able to find. And then one found me and the rest is history, as they say 😁
It could well work as an only watch, being classical enough for more formal wear (maybe not on this blue strap 😉) yet offering sufficient robustness and a WR of 100m, easily enough to dip in the pool (again possibly not on this strap 😂).
Not that I am going down that route. Any watches in your collections that you feel could do it all?

...since their aim/mantra has always been to make the best daily watch possible. From my GSs, I'd probably go with this green-dialed, yellow-accented one as my all-rounder. ...

I guess many GS watches indeed bring this one watch feasibility with them. There are still people out there appreciating that I suppose (the reason why most have a date I guess 🤷🏻♂️).

Their dials have been getting a lot of attention in the past decade indeed 😊👍🏻
And yours is another great example of their expertise in this area. But sometimes I have the feeling that those masks their great work on cases and lately movements.
