Has this ever happened to you ? You have a watch at the bank and once you finally get around to getting it. It has been years since you last wore it ?
This was tucked away at the bank for the last few years.... 
It is my 2915-2 Speedmaster that I got years ago...
The funny thing back then was my view on collecting. I got this watch as a project , missing its bezel. When Omega released the "1957 Speedmaster replica" . I was able to source a bezel that i had to have modified or adjusted to get it to fit my case. My watchmaker took the liberty to order a new set of hands ! and put them on. He told me look they will glow for you ! I was just so happy to get the bezel on I did not care and I still have the our and min hand somewhere in my "junk" draw.
The dial on my example is that "tropical" color as opposed to the matt black.
Either way its on my wirst and keeping time.
