Why Omega?
Why did you purchase your first Omega? And perhaps more importantly, why did you buy another one?
(Presumption on my part that you own more than one, I know. Tell me if I am wrong.)
I bought my first Omega when I was over 40, and felt I needed a good watch. You know, a little bit of that sense of having a little success and wanting to enjoy it. I had always enjoyed watches and had several.
I had heard of Omega, and knew it was a good watch. It was expensive, compared to what I was wearing at the time. But I had reached a point where I wanted a sound mechanical.
My first Omega was this Speedmaster triple date, which I bought when I was nearly completely ignorant. But it kindled a passion which has not waned, for watches and especially this brand. My knowledge has grown since then, considerably. 
Others followed in relatively quick obsession - oops, I mean succession.
