Dear all.
Vintage Omega Collectors love to say "never say never to vintage Omegas" to protect the originality of their watches. Today, I am trying to do the opposite things, to set up some "Rules of thumb" for beginners to learn, to look at when they buy a watch. I will strictly stay in "hand and marker" category only.
If you find a watch in your collection which is against one of these "rules", please post your pic and questions to correct me . Your ideas are very appreciated.
I'd also like to thank Mike, everytime I am in doubt, I have a look at his online collections to check and clarify. I think all of his watches pass these rules beautifully.
1 _ Lengh of Hands.
a_ Second hand and minute hand should be even in lengh (SC version) and reach the markers.
Too long or too short is wrong.
b_ Sub second hand shoud reach the rim of the sub dial.
I will wait for a few days before posting the next rule.
Best regards.
Hoi.
