Horological Meandering

Help with a dificult choice!

Well actually I need a bit of guidance since I don't really have any "choices" right now. As a matter of fact, I'm not even sure something like this exists, but these are the criteria I've established:

Price range: 5-10K USD Used/gray market ok!
Case shape: Round, preferably in steel, size 36mm-40mm max
Dial: Any type, MUST have Date
Movement: I am not looking for a complicated movement, though chronograph , automatic etc can be welcome. I'de like to stay away from Eta ebauches, unless they are extensivelly re-worked (down to the regulator) and the movement must have beveling and other fine finishing.

If anything along these lines pops into mind please let me know! I would prefer lesser known brands or perhaps even independants!

bonatto, Three of your selection crieria are mutually exclusive. Price vs Avoid ETA vs Fine Finish. For 2 out of 3; you could consider a Grand Seiko or a Chinese-made watch........but hey......most parts start of in China anyway Regards, MTF
