Hers and His, a Couple of Explorer I.
6 years ago, I gave to my wife a very nice Explorer 1, the 1016.
Since this moment, I had to get one, too.
After a 6 years hunt, I got mine, some months ago.
I was looking for a 1016, I fell on a 6610, the former version of the Explorer 1.
Laquered versus matt, gilt versus white, lollypop versus the normal second hand, Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified versus Officially Certified Chronometer, Chapter Ring or not, each of them complement the other.
Hers and His... 2 Beauties together.

Christmas is near ... I won't want a hunting quest. Great looking watch. I am tempted to try a not so old Explorer 1 with tritium index. Any particular model I should look at? Best Tyler
After the Ref 1016, came the 14270.
Which has the modern face lift, but with tritium markers and hands till 1997 or 1998. A cool watch, indeed. Best, Tyler. Nicolas
