How many hands do you need?
My favorite Rolex watch period is the first half of the 1960'ies: gilt black lacquered dials and pointed crown guards are just fantastic!
But which is your favorite watch: GMT or Sub? Nico has stated his preference already. What is yours?
I tend to lean towards the Sub but my latest GMT makes the decision very difficult!
This: GMT 1675 from 1963.
Or that: Sub 5512 from 1960.
I am looking forward to hearing your preferences!

I may be on the path of truth....
.....But I would always take a Submariner over a GMT! Its not to say that the GMTs in all their respective glory....from vintage through to modern, do not have considerable charm. Take my review from yesterday, if that is not a declaration of love!! BUT.....

Submariner or GMT is a fake question in my opinion, they are 2 different watches for 2 different tastes. If somebody like them both the best way is to get 2 clean examples of them.. In my case I've chosen long time ago. ...
