IGOTT2 culinary suggestions PART 3: Aria, not your typical 'food court'
On the second level of Aria Resort and Casino is a trio of restaurants located next to the Aria SkySuites private entrance and also the buffet. This is not your typical 'food court' but a trio of some very nice fine dining establishments.
The center one of the three is Jean Georges
Steakhouse by chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten.
The restaurant is much larger than you would expect and has a darker interior with some strange orange colored lighting decorations throughout.
Fresh baked pretzel bread, crispy flat bread and French bread:
For appetizers, we had the grilled foie gras terrine with a dollop of green apple and jalepeno marmalade for sweetness.
A sliced of grilled country bread (which tasted like a light brioche) and a sprinkle of sea salt for the foie gras:
Tuna tartare over fresh avacados and rice crackers (which tasted like Indonesian shrimp crackers):
A sample of fresh raw oysters:
And my favorite cut of beef, an 18 ounce USDA prime aged bone-in rib eye. It came with a pepper marmalade and bernaise sauce, but I skipped the sauces and enjoyed the flavors of the beef:
Any time I see broiled bone marrow on the menu I have to order it. These were generous sized portions so we ordered one to split for our table:
Gotta balance all the meats with a little bit of veggies, so we ordered the grilled asparagus:
On to desserts:
The salted caramel ice cream sundae:
And the creme fraiche cheesecake. The cheescake was delicious but the tangerine sorbet was even better:

how many more to come? IGOTT is in 2 days! And do you all just eat one big meal a day? Anyhow, this place looks good too and the bone marrow. WOW! How the ribeye? compared to CUT or Maestro's here in LA?
