Soon to be new member of the club.
Decided Wednesday that my collection was lacking, so spent the day calling my contacts determined to locate a Glashutte Original PanoGraph. As yet I have never had the opportunity to see one in the flesh.
My search concluded today with the puchase of a RG PanoGraph. Watch is being sent guaranteed next day (Friday) 10 AM delivery.
Very much looking forward to its arrival.
I recently acquired a Lange 1 PG / silver dial and
it is absolutly magnificent, especially the Caliber L 901 movement with 3/4 bridge. As much respect as the Lange 1 has garnered in the industry, and deservedly so, I feel the GO movement is equally as sophisticated, and well finished in every respect. A true equal.
Aside from the overall beauty and symmetry of the Panograph, it is the Caliber 61 movement that truly moves me. Unlike the Panoreserve whose Caliber 65-01 is beautiful but almost identical to the Lange 1, the PanoGraph is an open movement which I find completly mezmorizing, and compelling with its intricacies and finish.
But I'll let you now how I really feel in the morning.
Like I said It's going to be a long night.
