Just received my first Blancpain...
It makes my heart race! The 38mm 2019 Bathyscaphe LE for Hodinkee (5100 1130 63A) has always caught my eye, but it's hard to come by. Last week the stars aligned though, and I can hardly believe it. To me it is as close to ideal as I can imagine: time-only, brushed case, high WR, lume, Arabic numerals, 38mm case. More than just specs, the important thing is that it all comes together for me, it just feels right when I put it on.

Great vibes from the dial, the hands length is right and it looks great on your wrist. I tried the 38 when it came out but it felt a bit small, I get the impression the dial on your LE gives it more presence, looking forward to seeing more live pics!

It is a perfect watch or very nearly. Crazy that Blancpain doesn’t listen to the chorus of voices here and elsewhere calling for no-date commemoratives like this.
