My first Breguet - 7787 with enamel dial

I have admired the brand for years, especially the moon phase models, yet always some other watch was in my sights. Lately, however, I have had a growing desire for a Breguet moon phase, since I have been without a moon phase since I sold my Patek. My youngest daughter, 5, loves the moon, and we would track its phases, along with the planets, so I'm looking forward to doing this again!

I was in Chicago this past weekend and visited the new Swatch Group store, and they had a very nice selection of various brands. I was especially taken with the 7787 in rose gold with enameled dial. I slept on it and decided it was a fine entry into the world of Breguet.

I really love the enamel and rose gold combination, and the dial creates a dynamic interplay of classic elegance and playfulness that is extremely appealing. A couple of bad cell phone pictures upon arrival:
