My first foray into independants
I've got a pretty mainstream collection and have long avoided independants due to servicibility and longevity concerns. Well, I found something that put those fears to rest by using a GP movement and also presents a unique and enticing visual package (and a value price to boot!). I'm not sure if this means any more independants will follow, but I am absolutely loving this Daniel Roth!

Great choice!
I've long appreciated Daniel Roth, though never took the plunge to own one. I dig the clear signature case and there's something so right about the hands he always uses (what do you even call that hand shape?).
I had something similar in 1995!
Same salmon dial in steel and it was amazingly accurate. I am a great fan of Daniel Roth and I often think that he is a forgotten genius!

I suppose that depends on your definition
Considering this watch is from the mid 90s, before BVLGARI purchased the name, I think there is an argument to be made that his watches pre-buyout still count but, in either case, I'm happy with it.
