My rewiew of the SIHH.

I was a lucky man... I was receive by JlC Three time during the SIHH, for a deep presentation of the 2010 novelties...
Once again, JlC don't release the pressure, craziest pieces are usual, one year more.

First, a surprise, a convincing Master Compressor, I never like this line of JlC...
But here, the bezel decrease, and the glass fiber dial, make younger this watch.



The rose gold version is quite convincing too...



Another re-dressing, the squadra, the global quality of finish increase, even I found very strange the rubber part
on the side of this squadra:



So, my favorite watch of this 2010 SIHH, the new Extrem Lab, the Extrem Lab 2 tribute to geophysic (strange tribute however).

This EL2 give up, the absence of lubrification, what a pity. And the tourbillon is exiting too...

But she earns many gadgets. A greats gadgets:

-The system of the crown, on this watch, is like on AP ROO concept and RM002. That's mean that you don't have to pull the crown,
for adjust the hour, you push a little rubber button in center of the crown, and in the dial A 3O,clock, after the date, you have the
crown position indicator.

-The system of minutes chronograph indicator is with a "Guichet", a minute counter, like on the Zeitwerk Lange.
In action is marvelous. I love it. A video:

-The power reserve indicator is radial, on the "Réhaut" between 9 and 3 on 180° for the 60h of power reserve.

-The anti-magnetic spiral, on the titanium version, that make an anti-magnetic watch, cause the hands are in titanium too.
But the rose gold version is Magnetic. As usual.

-A GMT function at 9.

-The date at 3.

-A zero/reset second button ont the left side of the watch.

-For titanium version, the case is in titanium/vanadium, a new alloy for the watch. Until now, this alloy was used in aeronautical industries.

-The caliber as many new or rares features, like the large balance wheel at 28800a/h who is optimised for be shock-proof, or the rotor mounted on
lubrification free ceramic ball bearing...

I was totally convincing by this watchs, technically, aesthetically, you have more same ratio of innovation than in the Roo concept or the RM002, for a
price divided by 5!
I hope, if i got a new job that she will be the watch after next...

The another JlC that killing me softly at this SIHH, the new version of Duometer, the Duomètre à Quantième Lunaire.
First, i was not totally taken by this watch, cause i consider that was a kind of "under-Duomètre".
I make a mistake, when i come back in Paris, in see a second time this watch, side of the chronograph Duomètre, I change my advice.
In fact, the Chronograph Duomètre is more male, more cold and the Lunar one, more female, more poetic.

This Moonphase version is a great success aesthetically, the apertures on the dial fit perfectly to the watch, because, they follow the line
of the subdial...
A little default, you can't stop the "Foudroyante" hand, the button at 10 adjust the day. The system of chronograph was adapted to have a zero/reset
second system for adjust hour, when you adjust it, second hand an foudroyante came back à 12.
The system of double barrel was exploited a little bit differently on this caliber 381.
The first barrel only feed the balance wheel, and the second
barrel feed the all the hand and moon indicator.
Same color code than on the previous Duomètre, yellown gold have mate dial whith red moonphase, rose gold "grainé" dial with blue moonphase.

To stay in Duomètre line a new color for the chrono, white gold, and black dial, I prefer all "grainé" dial, that you found on rose gold and platinium.
The style of this dial make me think certains kind of luxury GSM, like Nokia 88XX or Vertus...



To stay in black dial, the new Memovox worldtime is very interresting:



My favorite watch stay this Extreme Lab 2, but the technically most impressive is the new great complication.
"La Master grande tradition, grande complication", they said. They don't lie.

First, the watch, have a celestial map, the result is that the flying tourbillon turn in anti-schedule direction on 23h56.
Because it's "La grande maison", the watch have also an annual calendar and a minute repeater.

I don't kwon how they can put such complications in one watch (and they do better with the Hybris Mechanica), but they do.
I have luck to keep it half of hour, i was fascinated by the tourbillon, i play with the minute repeater, marvelous.
When she have a dial at the level of the complication (it's a prototype version), an a cheaper "réhaut", I hope that will have
the oniric and fascinnating watch of the celestial circle.
